The Barounis family’s Elladiko olive press began operating in 1974 in Peloponnese. Centrifugal machines were introduced in 1986, and the press was fully refurbished with state-of-the-art eco-friendly, two-phase machinery in both 2007 and 2017. Over five decades, the Barounis family has engaged with the world of olive oil continuously — showing love, artistry, passion, and responsibility for this fruit that has been worshipped as a symbol of Greek culture for millennia.
