Nikos Argyriou, founder of Argyriou Winery, was born in Polydrosso on the slopes of Parnassos in Central Greece, into a family long rooted in agriculture and livestock breeding. The exceptional terroir of the Parnassos region — its high altitude, soils, and microclimate, well suited to both Greek and international grape varieties — was decisive in his choice to plant vineyards here.
Nikos established his first vineyard in 1995 and founded Argyriou Winery in 1999, driven by a deep love for quality wines and the agricultural knowledge inherited from his family. Today the vineyard spans over 30 Ha, with all members of the Argyriou family fully embracing that founding passion.
