At the Barounis family’s Elladiko olive press in the Peloponnese, operating since 1974, the annual olive harvest is an invitation to experience one of Greece’s most fundamental agricultural traditions. Join the family in gathering olives from their extensive Peloponnesian grove during the September and October harvest season. Centrifugal machines were introduced to the olive press in 1986, and the press was fully refurbished with state-of-the-art machinery in 2007 and 2017.
