Dionysia Kelaria distillery was founded out of a love for distilling and the need to produce an exceptional-quality tsipouro. Located close to Kyparissia in the Peloponnese, the distillery revived the long-lost art of tsipouro production in Messinia by seeking knowledge in the Tzoumerka mountains, Arta, and Karditsa in Epirus.
Using the local grape variety Isabela from their own vineyards and selected partners in Trifilia, and combining traditional knowledge passed verbally through generations with advanced scientific methods, Dionysia Kelaria produces tsipouro of exceptional purity.
