Twenty-five women from Mesotopos, Lesbos, joined forces in 1998 to revive forgotten flavours using traditional recipes. Their dedication transformed their cooperative into a thriving business housed in an impressive 850-square-metre building featuring modern cooking premises, a showroom for local products, offices, educational facilities, an event hall, and a parking lot.
As a unique gastronomic and cultural center in southwest Lesvos, the cooperative offers a warm atmosphere inviting visitors to experience cooking classes and food tours that bridge the past and the future.
Genuine traditional recipes, originating from the village, ensure consistency and quality without the use of any preservatives.
