In the small village of Kapsia in Arcadia, next to the fir forest of Mt. Mainalon, the restored mansion of grandfather Evangelos Kalogri is home to a small traditional family winery — the first in Peloponnese certified as visitable and open to the public by the Greek Ministry of Tourism.
Visitors can see the aging of wine in the underground cellars and enjoy organic natural wines in the tasting room next to the fireplace, accompanied by traditional handmade delicacies. The outdoor areas offer a unique view of the forest and the stone-built settlement.
The wines come from the family’s own certified organic vineyards in the Mandinia viticultural zone, vinified using only natural methods without additives. Varieties: Moschofilero, Merlot & Cabernet Sauvignon. Exports to America, Canada, England, Denmark & Sweden.
