Welcome to KYKAO, a cooperative microbrewery in a quaint village in Patras, Peloponnese. With over 10 years of experience in homebrewing, we craft exceptional beer styles and experiment with unique ingredients.
Our diverse range includes everything from hoppy NEIPAs to bold Belgian Sours like Flemish Red Ale, as well as Barleywine aged in locally sourced wine barrels and many more exciting brews.
At KYKAO, our name derives from the ancient Greek word meaning “stirring up” or “mixing,” reflecting our philosophy of constantly pushing the boundaries to craft truly distinctive brews. Inspired by the Eleusinian Mysteries, we embrace the tradition of our ancestors who consumed a special brew during the climax of that ancient festival.
