In Crete, Lafkas Brewery began in 2011 as the remarkable story of a Greek wine student who discovered Belgian beer culture in Belgium — and the Belgian girl who inspired him. Together they brought the best of Belgian brewing tradition to Crete, creating a uniquely cross-cultural craft beer story. Merging Belgian knowledge with the finest Greek products and climate, they launched their unique product in 2017: Triple Hop Pale Ale.
