Nestled at the foot of the majestic Paiko mountain range in Central Macedonia, just outside the charming town of Goumenissa, lies Mikro Ktima Titos — a hidden gem cradled by centuries-old oak trees and the tranquil flow of the Sirios River. It was here, in 1972, that Titos Eftychidis planted the seeds of a dream: a small, family-run vineyard nurtured by passion and the unique terroir of the region.
This cherished vineyard found new life through the deep bond between Titos and his longtime friend, renowned winemaker Vangelis Gerovassiliou. After Titos’s passing, his wife, Angeliki Eftychidis, entrusted the vineyard to the hands her husband respected most.
In 2018, the legacy was formally passed on to the visionary team behind Ktima Biblia Chora — Vangelis Gerovassiliou and Vassilis Tsaktsarlis — who brought with them a commitment to excellence and reverence for the land.
Today, Mikro Ktima Titos is undergoing a vibrant renaissance. The estate vineyard in the Two Rivers expanse flourishes once more, while new vines are carefully cultivated in Filiria, Pentalofos, and Gerakonas — among the finest terroirs in the PDO Goumenissa zone.
