The journey of Raptis began in 1973 in Leontio, Nemea, when George Raptis laid the foundations of a philosophy centered on excellence and vineyard sustainability. As a member of the Hellenic Association Against Grapevine Phylloxera, he pioneered vine nurseries among the first in Greece, supporting healthy vineyards across the country.
A new chapter opened 27 years ago, when siblings Christos and Eleni Raptis decided to take a bold step into winemaking. Working with their family vineyards in the Peloponnese, they transformed their agricultural heritage into award-winning wines, gaining international recognition through persistence, craftsmanship, and passion.
Today, Raptis Boutique Winery welcomes visitors year-round for a complete guided winery tour and wine tasting experience in the heart of Nemea.
