Skevofilax Winery is a family-owned boutique winery on Kos Island, founded in 2010 in the Karydies area of Kefalos. Starting with a 20-acre vineyard, the first bottles reached the local market by 2012; the vineyards now span 40 acres.
Our Unique Terroir
The volcanic subsoil, sandy textures, and sea breezes of Kefalos combine with the island’s August meltemia to create a perfect environment for exceptional grape cultivation.
- West Side of Kos: Volcanic soils ideal for the Assyrtiko and Malagouzia varieties.
- East Side, Mount Dikaios Foothills: Clay soils cultivated with Syrah, Merlot, and Cabernet, yielding exquisite rosé and red wines.

Located in Kampos of Kefalos, our 300 sq.m. winery was fully renovated and energy-upgraded, reopening on May 1, 2024 — a modern, inviting space for an unforgettable wine-tasting experience on Kos.
