The apiary tradition of the A. A. Dimakopoulos family begins in 1957, in Stemnitsa, Arcadia, Peloponnese. What began as curiosity about the society of bees evolved into a professional enterprise, with care and devotion passed from father to son.
Today, the family’s beekeepers use natural-biological methods to produce honey, pollen, royal jelly, propolis, beeswax, and all the natural bee products necessary to humans.
“Axion Esti” best expresses the family’s philosophy toward the bee — which gives its products generously and plays a critical role in pollination.
Step into the world of the bee by wearing authentic beekeeper suits and entering a real apiary in Stemnitsa. Guided by expert beekeepers, you will learn about the fascinating society of bees — their structure, behaviour, and vital role in nature — while observing them in their natural habitat.
