Four kilometres from the city of Naoussa, in the settlement of Nea Strantza, lies Foundi Estate — a modern family winery active in the wine sector since 1992. A member of the Wine Routes of Northern Greece Association, the estate is open to any wine-lover wishing to experience the Xinomavro variety and learn the art of wine production in Macedonia.
Foundi Estate produces seven different wines — three red, three white, and one rosé — within the PDO and PGI regions, with ninety per cent sourced from Xinomavro and the rest from Merlot and Malvasia Aromatica. The estate also collaborates with local producers whose vineyards are constantly monitored to ensure high-quality grapes.
