Twenty-five women from Mesotopos, Lesbos, joined forces in 1998 to establish the Mesotopos Women’s Cooperative and revive forgotten flavours through traditional recipes. Their dedication has transformed the cooperative into a thriving business housed in an impressive 850-square-meter building.
As a unique gastronomic and cultural centre in southwest Lesbos, the facility features modern cooking facilities meeting all production and quality control standards, alongside a showroom for local products, educational facilities, an event hall, and a parking lot.
Traditional recipes originating from the village ensure consistency and quality without preservatives — evoking cherished memories through the aromas of a grandmother’s kitchen.
